Webinar Description

The regulatory experts at Bankhall join Professional Adviser to bring you a must-attend, three-part series that will explore Consumer Duty and what it will mean for you and your business.

Together, we’ll cover the six principles of the new regulation, and the steps you need to take to ensure you are compliant with each one.

Don’t miss your chance to hear the latest regulatory insights, ask us your questions, and make sure you’ve got everything you need to be Consumer Duty-ready.

Day 1 - 21st March 13:00 GMT

Get Consumer Duty-Ready: Regulatory Overview And Price & Value Outcome

The first session in our Get Consumer Duty-Ready series will kick-off with an overview of Consumer Duty, including principle 12, the cross-cutting rules, and a definition of the four outcomes. Our experts will also look at PROD and Prin, and explain how you can identify the one you’ll need to follow, before moving on to look at how conduct rule 6 applies to you.

In the second half of this session, we’ll take a look at price and value, exploring your role as a manufacturer as well as the costs of doing business and the way this impacts on price-setting. From there, we’ll move on to fair value and what this means, before moving on to examine the distribution chain and how you can demonstrate that your services offer good outcomes.

Day 2 - 22nd March 13:00 GMT

Get Consumer Duty-Ready: Customer Understanding And Support

The second session in our Get Consumer Duty-Ready series will focus on customer understanding and customer support.

This session is unmissable when it comes to ensuring that your customers have everything they need to understand the advice journey. Together, we’ll cover how you can demonstrate that you’ve helped your customers make informed decisions, as well as how you can ensure that you’ve identified the needs of each of your individual customers and removed any potential barriers. Plus, we’ll look at how you can best support vulnerable customers under the new regulation.

Day 3 - 23rd March 13:00GMT

Get Consumer Duty-Ready: Governance And Product Outcome

The final session in our Get Consumer Duty-Ready series will focus on governance and MI, and the products and services outcome.

We’ll  look at how you can set the tone from the top when it comes to governance and reporting, as well as the things you need to consider when it comes to monitoring, reviewing and evidencing customer outcomes.

We will also look at advice as a service, and you as a manufacturer. You’ll hear about how to define a target market, as well as distribution and impact.
